HAPPY ANNIVERSARY SINT!

S.I. Newtown celebrated one year as a charted club on November 6th, 2011.  To commemorate this occasion, the club had a cocktail event.  We were delighted to have sister representatives from the five other clubs in attendance.  Special mention must be made of the attendance by Pat Carruthers (SI International Treasurer 2011–13), who graced us with her presence on extremely short notice.

Presentations were made to acknowledge the indelible contributions made by Dennise Demming, Sandra Dieffenthaller and Martha Frederick-Franklin, for not only getting us to the point of chartering, but for the continued support and guidance.

Sisters, "We've only just begun..."!


 

 

 

Friendship Day

 

SINT members had a funfilled day interacting with other Soroptimists at Friendship Day 2011, hosted by Soroptimist International Chagaunas Club.  Thank you!

 

    

 


 

 

SINT thanks everyone who supported our Curry-Q, held on October 4th-6th as well as those who supported our Professional Mixer, held on October 6th.  Funds from both events will go toward projects which will facilitate the growth and empowerment of women and girls of Trinidad and Tobago.
